2023 – A new beginning for the Royals. Matt Quatraro era begins. A year to see which of our young players will make up the core going forward. Can Bobby Witt Jr become a superstar SS or will go to the hot corner? Will Brady Singer take the next step forward? Will Salvy be Salvy? Will Big Vin or Pratto take first base? Will they find a position for MJ? Who else emerges from the youth movement? Not to mention the development of the new downtown stadium.

Bellinger has put together a good season...I wonder what happened with his last two years in LA? maybe expectations, needed a change etc? I was kind of thinking he might be done after that [Reply]

I don't know for sure, but Bellinger reportedly tinkered with his swing mechanics after his 2019 NL MVP season. Why? Who knows? Don't fix what isn't broke. I always thought he was susceptible to peaks and valleys just because he has so much movement from his load to his swing.
It's interesting to me the Dodgers' process couldn't fix Bellinger but found a way to get JD Martinez back on track, and resurrect Jason Heyward from the dead. No one saw Heyward with an 800 OPS ever again. [Reply]
Cody has cut his strikeouts way down this season...putting more balls in play
Lots of levers involved with his swing...especially holding his bat so high [Reply]
