More news regarding @Chiefs — source says they are “50-50” on signing former @packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling and “feel good” about adding former @Buccaneers RB Ronald Jones. CB Stephon Gilmore could also be in the fold if price comes down.
I watched quite a few Packers games, and while I can't statistically prove it (someone else probably could if they cared) I feel like MVS's catch rate might be overblown.
They used him as a downfield threat A LOT, which is going to negatively affect that catch rate. And I like the idea of a 6-4 guy with wheels in this offense.
I don't get the Jones interest at all.
EDIT: Looked it up - MVS had 9 drops in 2020 and ZERO last season. [Reply]

I don’t get MVS or Jones.
If Jones can hold the ball then maybe. Hardman and CEH have to know they suck lol. [Reply]

The thing for me is theres some health concern for CEH so a known asset in ROJO kind of makes sense. I doubt he costs a lot. And i like MVS on paper but the pack games ive watched over the last two years he seemed lost in the shuffle. I wont be mad if we sign him it will add to the frustration that the Tyreek thing didnt happen before Chark and other guys signed. [Reply]
there's been rumors he was asking north of 7m to 10m per and there's no ****ing way that turd is worth it just to run a go route
i'd rather us just grab landry or fuller, and best case shenault. hell watkins played for around 5m per in baltimore, might be able to grab him for way less. [Reply]

Between 15-20.9 YPC in his career, and never under 880 air yards - which means his limited targets were mostly downfield. His worst year in Air Yards is 250 yards more than Mecole's best. [Reply]
