Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
Trey actually does a fantastic job here somehow seeing the inside free runner. He gets off his block and slides all the way out to cutoff the angle and nail him as Mahomes steps up. [Reply]
Tom Brady last week with some nice words about Patrick
I know it's cool and hip to hate Tom. But I respected it a lot when Mahomes was talking about How Tom Brady came out after the game (the first AFCCG I think or maybe the Tampa Superbowl) and followed Mahomes to his vehicle in the parking lot and Tom gave him a little pep talk and about how Mahomes is doing everything the right way. Thought that was pretty cool of Tom Brady. [Reply]

Easier to do that on the winning side of it. I seem to remember he was not so gracious toward Nick Foles & Eli Manning when they beat him. [Reply]

that's a good point I guess. I also remember hearing Ryan Fitzpatrick talking about how he can't stand Tom Brady because he wouldn't shake hands in the middle of the field after the game when the Dolphins or Jets beat the Patriots. So ya, good point. [Reply]

That ball to MVS down the sideline was in a smaller window than 100 of them that he's come off of this year and people have claimed there was nobody to throw to.
It may just be that in the regular season he was more worried about making mistakes. And for a bit maybe it got into his head.
But it's nut cuttin' time and he's firing the ball into zones before guys make their breaks. He's putting them into tiny windows and trusting himself and his receivers to execute.
He's playing at the level we knew he could play at. And it's why this offense is kicking ass again.
If he continues at this level, we hoist another Lombardi. It's really as simple as that.
The fact Mahomes is playing like himself again and that trend pretty much started when Moore and Toney “got hurt” could also point that the problem was that he didn’t trust them, specifically.

Surreal
It is insane how fast he has moved up these all-time QB charts. Seems like just yesterday he was a 19 year old kid at Tech making spectacular throws and losing games. Lol [Reply]
