Gives me a damn near heart attack watching him false start every fucking snap that they pass. Then when they run he's up on the line. I guess if teams don't watch the tape they'll miss it. So there's that [Reply]
The right side of rhe OL has looked pretty dodgy. Part of it seems to be a regression from Smith, but part of it is Taylor. The penalties have obviously been horrendous, but he's also had some horrible reps in pass-pro that have surprised me. Maybe his re-positioning and timing adjustment isn't helping, I dunno. But it's been bad. He absolutely should be a good pass-protector, but right now he's just a really expensive problem. You can't pay a guy that much money and get these performances [Reply]
It's in his head. You can see it in his body language, his eyes, and his play. He's taking fire from all sides outside of the locker room. But here's the kicker...
Mahomes has had more time to throw than I've ever seen in the past. Not even the Jets got got that much heat on Patrick. All our struggles came from our receivers' lack of separation. Yes, the penalties are bad but the play calling is lackluster as well. This is not Playoff Chief Football. This is week four and we're trying to get a feel for the young guys football.
Trust me, when the offense destroys the much lesser secondary of the Vikings all will be well. We won't see a more talented defense the Jets fielded. (That is largely because the Jets likely will miss the Playoffs.) [Reply]

I agree with O City that it's partly the receivers but also partly Mahomes. They're connected. Pass-pro has been shoddy, receivers aren't open, Mahomes isn't trusting his eyes or instincts on who to throw to partly because of the first two problems.Obviously the Jets have a good defense so it looks especially bad there. Yep. Mahomes has only been sacked 2 times. Shitty WR is the problem. Good news is Rice seems to be more than just a guy and the more he plays the better we will be. We need to figure out how to get Skyy Moore off the field more often. As the season moves on Mahomes will get more and more comfortable with these guys too but its always gonna be a problem. [Reply]

It’s crazy how the NFL is choosing which players to fine and for how much $$$$. Look at what TJ Watt does on this play that happened Sunday, it should be a big fine and a suspension.
