Nzoner's Game Room>Zach Wilson Possibly Lost Starting Job?
Sassy Squatch 04:47 PM 11-21-2022

#Jets HC Robert Saleh said he's evaluating everything and they aren't committing to Zach Wilson as this week's starter vs. the Bears.

So you just give every rookie QB the benefit of the doubt until they prove you right.

We need to see how the rest of Jersey's year and next year plays out along with who trades for Wilson.

If Carolina gets him then yeah, he's dead.
I still think the Jets should play him once they are out of the playoff race and make him earn the starting job next year. I wouldn't cut bait just yet.

No. I thought Rosen was a bust pre-draft and when he got on field it only confirmed he couldn't play.

Watch the Kurt Warner breakdown of the last Wilson game.

Totally different than what the majority of talking heads are saying.

It's possible. I think they really believe it's all Zach though and are done with him.

No idea. His determination to paint Wilson as a victim is pretty odd, though.

Lance is going to start his 3rd year with 102 pass attempts for 797 yards. And not really any plays you can lean into as a cornerstone player.

It might be dumb for them to walk away from Jimmy G.

Especially if he gets them out of the NFC again :-)
Jimmy G is playing excellent right now. Exactly what the 49ers want. Alex Smith II

49ers actually are my pick to make it out of the NFC right now.

Stacked team minus the QB.

So you're not related. You're just relishing in the idea that you're the only person that truly knows what's going on. A contrarian's take.

You and Kurt Warner, that is.

That seems the way more likely scenario. It’s hard to believe that even after getting benched he’s STILL sulking. He doesn’t seem to get it. I can’t imagine they wouldn’t give him an opportunity and a huge advantage to win the job back. But first he’s gotta prove he’s willing to grow as a leader

Watch it yourself if you want. Or don't.

Chris Simms also said the same thing. Said the performance wasn't good against NE but nothing he saw against NE disqualified him as an NFL QB.

I'd say Mike White stepping in and instantly elevating the offense is a pretty good sign Wilson is going to be difficult to "develop" the way you think.

Chris Simms also went off about Garrett Wilson being a rookie and speaking for the team and that he should shut the fuck up and then it turned into the Jets having to many young players that talk to much..

Dude kinda lost it on that whole take.

It's a different issue than the design of the offense but I also agree with Simms here. Rookie WR's should be focused on their job not trying to be shit teammates.

So what happens when the great Mike White has a bad game? Garrett going to throw up his arms and cry again?

The same could be said for 2nd year QB's as well.

When the Jets trade him, if they're that dumb, some team is going to win that trade.
