I know there are enough of us to participate in this thread, even when our seasons inevitably go to shit.

KSU vs Western Illinois today, tip-off at 3:00 pm.

One thing I noticed near the end of the game on Friday night - we had 5 true freshman on the court, and still played sound basketball. None of them were scrub walk-ons either. While I don't think we will make a serious run at anything this year, the foundation is being laid for a solid program in the future.

I have no idea what the cats are looking like this year. I am just ready for some Kobe and Mamba Mania, KU winning a shitload of games and Mizzou to make a run in the tournament.

Aspa -reeeeeeeeya (? lol) flashed with the behind the back pass down low. Good presence, a little rusty - should be a HUGE upgrade over sweet Lou.

Spradling for THREE.... hopefully will be said often this year.

Curt and Wally - bash brothers this year. Coupled with Sasparilla and JHR, we might lead the nation in blocks. annnnnd rebounds :-)

Which do you think would allow me to see more K-State games? ESPN Full Court or DTV Sports package which will give me more Fox Sports regions and a bunch of various regional sports channels that I would probably never watch.

click on each game...it will tell you what channel it's on. At first guess I'd say DTV Sports.

I'm a big Wilford Brimley fan but that wasn't really much help. It could have been worse, it could have been Rick Astley.

Christ, I love the depth on this team. I feel like Jake & Curt are the only 2 with guaranteed starting spots, which is pretty cool.

I feel like Wally is going to go batshit crazy this year & was pretty impressed with the way Spradling played. Wasn't a huge fan of giving him a scholie, but looks like he knows what he's doing. Hoping to see Southwell & Asprilla continue to get time as well, I'm a big fan of both of them.


Anyone know when Jamar gets back?
