The part about him telling them he was too hurt to play and them forcing him to play? In no way is that true, and anybody who believes it is a gullible ****ing moron.
The only part of the story is true? How do you even know that?

You think it’s totally implausible that a team would pressure a player to play through an injury in a key game with playoff implications?

While that may be difficult to disprove, ABs statement with legal guidance points to specific accusations that could easily be plausible. Biggest one being using an extremely potent painkiller the nflpa recommended against. That accusation could very well come with receipts. If that’s true then the bucs medical staff knew that it was a very serious injury and cleared him to play anyway. Or worse that they suggested an Ill advised treatment. Certainly shows that there was excessive effort to get him to play.. And it certainly takes away arians and the bucs defense of playing dumb on the matter. Now, how much of that was on AB and how much of that is on the bucs? That’s tough to tell. But don’t act like TB wouldn’t be highly motivated to be on the wrong side of this.

The altercation that led Antonio Brown's benching last week was with Ben Roethlisberger. Im told it was fairly ugly and the WR was totally in the wrong. He went AWOL essentially for the 3rd time this season dating back to training camp

This happened 3 years ago, can’t believe anyone is buying AB’s explanation of what happened last weekend. Plus, now that Arians has came out publicly with what he claims happened, his side of the story can be easily corroborated. He claims AB was angry about his number of targets and that others were involved in calming him down but then AB eventually lost his marbles a little while later. Don’t forget how angry Antonio Brown was after his Steeler teammates voted JuJu team MVP for the 2018 season. AB is so full of $hit, but for some reason, there are who people want to believe him in his latest selfish act.

His actions didn’t say “I’m too hurt to play”. His actions align much more with a guy that was upset that he wasn’t getting the targets to reach his incentives.

Do you get it yet you dumb ****?
Sorry, but that’s nonsense. A player looking fine on a ton of drugs doesn’t mean they were healthy enough to play. That shouldn’t be hard to grasp. The teams actions sure point to “this guy has a serious injury let’s do whatever it takes to get him to play” just as much as the incentives story.

It's not "Very serious" by NFL standards if he can play on Toradol. Every team has a number of players playing on Toradol every week.

In the NFL it does.

I don’t know why people can’t comprehend that there is a world where AB is a lying sack of shit but maybe the bucs were in the wrong too. Most of the accusations are horseshit. But I don’t think it’s at all debatable at this point that the bucs knew AB was very seriously injured yet was cleared to play. A team that played gronk on a punctured lung and ran godwin on sprints with a torn ACL doesn’t have a great track record either. The question is that for all the horseshit ab is lying about, is this one where there’s actually some truth to the accusation. In this case there may actually be physical evidence to suggest it’s plausible.

The idea that AB was concerned about taking torodol or the long term effects is probably one of the funniest narratives in this whole thread.

AB has never ever done a single thing in his career looking for the long term benefit or payoff.

AB is dishonest and a POS and Arians is also a POS. Not sure what value there is in arguing this he said/she said situation between two people who are not exactly bastions of integrity.

Of course. But being nfl acceptable does not mean he is actually healthy especially in a culture known to sidestep and clear players by any means necessary. And we certainly should not suggest that a player running fine on painkillers is some kind of smoking gun that he was fine enough to play. Given the nfls low bar there is a huge gray area of players who play when they shouldn’t and plenty of room to pressure players to do whatever it takes to play.

To be fair, she's also a known liar who once fabricated a story about Kanye West and Jeffrey Star having an affair, and later admitted she lied about the whole thing.

Hard to trust anything a toilet seat licking liar says.

This. Both had motivations for him playing. AB was guaranteed in the wrong. But there’s plenty of room and history for the bucs to be in the wrong too.
