Give me Marquise there.

I think he'd kill in this offense.

Do we think Brown is a 11-1200 yard WR in this offense if so then you go with him.

Who misses the entire season with injury to get him those kind of numbers?

It’s pretty clear agents and players are getting contracts now to account for big jumps in the cap. We saw it with the interior offensive linemen as well. Sure the salaries might be high year one, but year two reasonable, and year three and beyond a bargain. That also makes it easier for teams justify the slightly inflated salary at signing.

Watch the tape; does he still have that deep speed? No, but everything else is pretty much intact. And he's the most complete WR out there. Does he run a full route tree? Check. Does he have a good set of releases/release package? Check. Can he beat man? Check. Can he separate at the top of his routes/at the catch point? Check. Can he make good sight adjustments? Check. He still has great hands, still has great body control, etc.

And as far as speed goes, there's no way he's slower than JJSS was when we had him.

Out on Hollywood at that price unless it’s contract with a structure to get out clean and have backloaded funny money.

Aside from that just wait until next week when leverage falls and go after the Curtis Samuels, DJ Charks and KJ Osborns. At least they will be fairly priced

Beckham can't actually expect a huge deal with several years at his age and with his injury history. But I'd definitely take him for the right price.

Do we really think he can't catch 80 balls?

What are we thinking about LT?

Pretty much zero leaks or news on the Chiefs and any FAs.

The position is too important to hope someone is still available later. That tells me the Chiefs must be confident in Wanya.

Last season seemed a little lucky with Smith still being available after the draft. Maybe we’ll see something similar this year too, but seems like a gamble.

I don't know if he is or not. It depends on which poisons teams pick, to a certain degree.

If he is getting the targets Valdes-Scantling, Toney, and Moore got, you're at about 120 targets. So the targets are there/available for him to get 100. And that was with the Chiefs running more 12 and 13 personnel last year (de-emphasizing 11 sets) and is separated from the targets Watson got.

Say there are 600 targets available. You want 120 for Kelce and Rice. Finding 100-120 for a strong third weapon seems do-able.

So, to circle back to the main point: It depends on which poison teams pick. If they start staying in two-deep again, that probably ticks Kecle and Rice up a few notches and he's more like 80-100 targets (what Valdes-Scantling got in 2022, plus a bit).

If he is more like an 80-100 target guy he is more likely an 800-1000 yard receiver. But it also gives you the ability to take some load off Kelce, too.

Hoo boy, let's hope not.
