Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

It probably needs to be talked about more that Joe Burrow has actually never been good in the playoffs, like at all. He was truly poor tonight and you could plainly see the enormous gulf between the two of them even in a game where Mahomes wasn’t 100% and had nobody to throw to. [Reply]

Isn't it still 0 4th quarter TDs in the playoffs for him? [Reply]

Correct. He’s failed time and again when it counts. No idea where this reputation of his has stemmed from. I’m still taking Josh Allen #2 in the league over him even as mistake prone as he is. Allen is a game changer at his best, Burrow is clearly not. [Reply]

Burrow has gotten very lucky, the media will not point that out. [Reply]

I think I'm still taking Burrow. Allen gets too spazzy. Burrow will be scary if he ever gets an O-line.

But it's close.
Let’s see how Burrow looks in a few years if they can’t retain both Chase and Higgins. He is hugely reliant on those two ridiculous athletes going and getting the ball for him. Allen, on the other hand, despite being a moron is a dual threat that really can’t be stopped when he’s rolling.

Higgins is probably a goner, but I expect them to keep Chase. I want to see what happens to their defense when they are eventually paying $85-90M per year for Burrow & Chase. That Cincy defense is pretty damn good right now, but might be hard to maintain it over time when the superstar QB & WR eventually get paid. [Reply]
