So there's an article on NFL network saying that Orlando Brown is expected to sign for 6 years $145 mil.
That comes to $24.16 mil/yr and makes him the highest paid offensive lineman in football. It also would give him the 19th highest salary per year in the NFL
How would you feel if that is the contract he ended up signing?
I'm fine with it. He is a top 5 LT and he's only 26 next season. A young great LT is a guy you can't let leave. [Reply]

Just bad.
Yep...We all know he has trouble with speed rushers. But when he gets BLOWN UP by bull rushing, when being able to move people straight up is supposed to be his thing, then he really isn't worth it. [Reply]

To be fair, there were a couple of times where he actually blocked the DE out of the play but nobody could get open, forcing Mahomes to hold onto the ball. Those were coverage sacks.
But yes, he was bad for most of the night. [Reply]
PFF still has OBJ graded high. I'm guessing they graded that a lot of those pressures were more on coverage than on him. Maybe not wins but not losses. [Reply]

Dunlap had 1.5 sacks and 1 TFL. And got a 48. PFF is garbage. [Reply]
I didn't see Brown sticking out much among a generally bad night for the o-line. Thought that Smith and Wylie looked worse.
Chenal was poor, IMO. Nnadi has taken a step back. Not sure what they were seeing from Thornhill, don't remember any major errors of the top of my head... [Reply]

Wylie and Smith were very bad. OBJ was also bad on important plays where he needed to be good. But yeah, he wasn't as bad as Smith and Wylie. [Reply]

People bitched about Fisher all the time he was here. I guess we are going to continue that Chief Planet tradition.
That said, I’m not saying he’s great, deserves it etc etc. just that it’s going to happen.
He will be here for another 3-4 seasons after he signs his contract. It’s going to happen.
