None of these super physical teams we play in conference will get away with it, but ISU is certainly at the top of the list. It's not a coincidence they've lost their last 4 road games in conference and haven't lost a game at home yet. Their style doesn't translate elsewhere. [Reply]

Sure seems like next year is a significant concern. Assuming we lose Wilson and Dick, I don't know who we are unless we have absolutely amazing freshman and none of them are really projected to be that as freshman. Harris and KJ are locked in as starters but neither seems to have much more upside than they have shown. They are who they are, for better or worse. Pettiford and Yesufu don't seem to offer tons of potential upside. The freshman big guys haven't show much at all in terms of offense. You'd hope they get better defensively but hard to see either being big scorers next year and you can't play KJ and them at the same time. Rice hasn't stayed healthy and hasn't shown much when he's been on the court. Obviously he has a pedigree but it's hard to count on that. Who's going to score next year? Who is our best player night in and night out? Perhaps it's a transfer, but if you were a gambling man and had to bet on leading scorer I'm not sure who that would be. Obviously we have no reason to doubt self, but this is probably the most uncertain team we have seen in a while. [Reply]

The (a)forementioned lunatic was simply using the only bullet he has at his disposal. I could sit back and say nothing but where's the fun in that? That being said, this isn't really the forum for that. I should stick to talking basketball and not throw out jabs at other fans.
As far as basketball goes, i know there's not much hope of any real success with Cal as coach. If he has a plethora of talent, he has a chance to advance and possibly win something but that's not always the case (see: 2014/2015).
Once Coach K decided to follow suit, he started getting most of the top players and Cal isn't a good in game coach. Bryce Hopkins is just the most recent example of what it's like to play for Ky right now and a cursory search of the interweb will bring up other guys that have transferred and has success at their new school.
On to Florida tonight and a bunch of empty hope that they can go somewhere, anywhere in the tournament this year. [Reply]
