But you speak like a politician.
The team overall might be but if you think this starting lineup is bottom 5, you’re either lying to yourself or plain wrong. And I speak like someone who knows how meaningless these regular season games are for a team like this.
Don’t really get caring this much about losing to a top 10 team on the road by single digits. Hell, the bench lineups Self put out there were enough to lose this game today by themselves (which he wouldn’t do in any tournament game). The starters would have had to play 40 minutes or something close to that to give them any chance and they weren’t gonna do that. [Reply]

Yea what's interesting is this team is built more like an aging NBA team gunning for a title with no depth. You don't care about losing to Orlando on a random Tuesday in January on a back to back, you are waiting for the playoffs to play your guys 40 minutes every game and nothing else matters. That's basically where we are, although hopefully this game spurs Jackson to get some confidence. [Reply]

Yeah, see the Lakers’ run to the WCF last year out of the play-in (after a regular season of LeBron/AD injuries, resting and coasting). Not dissimilar from what we’d be hoping for here with this group. [Reply]
I wouldn’t complain if you guys beat Houston next weekend. Well hopefully Oklahoma and/or UCF pull it off before that. I’m just hoping Houston loses at least one of these last three, if not two of them. [Reply]

That's true. And UH is very tough at home. I'll be at the game. UH has a lot of respect for KU and so do the fans. We know what a stellar program KU Basketball is. Should be a good one! [Reply]
Would be pretty darn surprised if Houston, Iowa State, Baylor and Kansas arent all in the sweet 16. I think 3 of the 4 make the elite 8. The Big 12 is so battle tested.
BYU will live and die by the three. They could make a deep run as well. [Reply]
