Seriously fuck him. He can't play when it really matters? Can't come in for the last drive of the game, because he tore his pussy? What was the point in him playing at all? He didn't look tired and didn't look hurt, so why couldn't he play for 10 more plays? He could have probably helped a lot on that final drive. Worthless fuck [Reply]

And that the franchise is, publicly, so PC about it. Not attacking the cancer that is EB29 is to encourage more of this behavior from EB29 and others. [Reply]

Except they did. Subtly, but it happened. Reid talking about doctors agreeing and saying Berry would play "if he FELT ready" which all indicates to me that team doctors cleared him, and Berry's doctors didn't.
I wonder if this all goes back to Houston's knee, actually? As fans, which we bitched about shitty knee procedures on Tamba and Houston (and Jamaal?) maybe there was a feeling among the defenders that the Chiefs medical/training staff were ****ing up players' careers.

I'M A CONSPIRACY GENIUS. BOOK IT.
I'm inclined to almost agree with this take. Almost. Maybe. Nearly there.
However, if we add in a couple of solid alien abductions and a Bigfeets sighting, I'm all in, baby.

Knowing the Chiefs they'll wait until after the salary money kicks in before they cut him. [Reply]

Eric Berry still a free agent. Kind of surprised that no team has signed him. Is he that broken now? Does he even want to play football anymore? [Reply]

He was ineffective when he played last year. EB is damaged goods, plain and simple. The fact that no one has even bothered to take a flyer on him tells you all you need to know. [Reply]
