Lafleur is the dumb Lafleur brother and his offense is absolutely dog shit fit for Wilson.
This is the only game where Jets actually tried to attack a specific defense's coverage. Again, it wasn't great but give Wilson 3-4 games like that and I think he would start to stabilize.
Right now Wilson is in his own head and his coach is a huge part of the problem.
After seeing that, the Jets O-line is the group who let-down the D. [Reply]

So Wilson was horrible because of the offensive coordinator being terrible, but Mike White throws for 315 yards and they blow out The Bears with the same scheme from the same shitty offensive coordinator.
But Zach Wilson is not the problem.
Okay.
Mahomes Magic wrong? Shocked.
Quite a leader Zach is.

As White conducted his postgame interview on the field with Fox, a handful of his offensive teammates mobbed him. Everybody was smiling, laughing. Wilson was already on his way to the locker room at that point, and by the time media arrived, he was nowhere to be found. Wilson had the starting job taken away from him, and it doesn’t seem like his teammates are in much of a rush for him to get it back.
Eh. Not really. If Wilson was performing at a high level instead we'd be hearing nonstop about how his brash confidence and how he's the guy everybody loves to hate. Although I will say he must be a special breed of cunt considering the Jets were/are doing quite well and he STILL managed to become what seems from the outside looking in to be universally disliked in that org. But part of the reason he ISN'T performing at a high level is that he doesn't have teammates willing to go to the mattresses for him.
You think those guys were playing as hard for him as they were for White this week?
There are only a couple of guys who have a cunt streak like Wilson who have had any success in this league. And all of them (Rodgers and Brady spring immediately to mind) are preternaturally gifted players who were successful FIRST, then became D-Bags.
The guys who start out that way? They never amount to a thing. Guys like Mayfield, Manziel, Wilson, etc... are guys who simply don't get it and that lack of character is largely WHY they never play worth a damn. [Reply]

The reason his career is in disarray is because he’s a low character guy. There is no quantity of talent that will allow someone to succeed at QB in the NFL who is an incorrigible douche who isn’t coachable or responsible. [Reply]

It’s really bizarre. He’s nothing like manziel who just gave zero fucks about trying or baker who is just way too arrogant. Zach Wilson actually seems like a decent guy who works at it. But it’s clear he just doesn’t know how to connect with his team. That kind of makes me feel like he still has potential but he’s gotta get knocked down more than a few pegs first. So I don’t know that he’s incorrigible but he may need to face some actual longer term adversity first. I really do buy the idea that a lot of this is just a rich kid who isn’t used to adversity he can’t buy his way out of. [Reply]

I don't think the lockerroom turns on him like it has if he's a 'decent guy who works at it...'
I suspect many QBs don't connect terribly well to some of their teammates. But they don't get a mid-week mutiny like Wilson has.
That calls his work ethic into question, IMO. That's one thing that simply will not fly with these guys. [Reply]
