BigRedChief 08:29 PM 01-08-2015
Feel free to discuss any future speculation, theories. Anything from the books is fair game to post. Everything that has been broadcast on TV or from HBO. No spoilers needed.

  1. If you watched or know the events that will take place in a unaired episode that has not been broadcast on HBO, you must put all the information and comments in a spoiler tag.
  2. Do not post any media of any kind involving actual content from unaired episodes without being in a spoiler. The only exception to the spoiler rule is content publicly posted from HBO and or the GOT actor themselves. Teasers, promos, trailers etc.

Any person unable to follow the spoiler rules will be banned from this thread. 14 days for first offense. Perm banned from the thread for a 2nd offense.

Look outside of Arya I think the story telling has been fine?

Hmm, in the books her blindness has nothing to do with a punishment and seems to be a part of her training. Perhaps I confused the two.

Understandable, but I'm pretty sure it was in the show tho

I thought she was being punished in the books.

They have made Cerci not so hateable, they have made Jaime not so likable, they ****ed up Dorne, they have ****ed up the warging and the Direwolves. I am also curious to see if GRRM makes Jon such a pussy after his death. Those are just a few things that pisses me off.

She does lose her sight after killing Daeron, but there's no explicit connection. She receives her sight back after she proves that she's able to fight while blind, so it seems that it's being used for training.

They've totally screwed up Jamie on the show. They just went to shit with him after season 2. None of the redemptive arc from the books. He's just a pretty face pining for his sister now, aside from a couple good scenes with brienne Sunday. Totally pointless. It's sad to watch. He's arguably my favorite book character by the end of feast for crows.

They've completely fucked up both twins, with Lena Heady being such a champion of Cersei as victim.

When he made the comment about killing everyone just to get back to his sister, I wanted the scene to be over. In the books he became one of the most likable characters and in the show he is Cersei's bitch.

I got this from a comment chain on Facebook. Take it for what it's worth.

According to the director, getting stabbed and going to Lady Crane weren't part of Arya's plan. The oranges weren't blood oranges, they were only there because he liked how they looked against the grey stone steps.

Yup.

They took probably the coolest speech in the book and fucked it up. In the books, at that point he was simply a machine; focused on doing the job at hand. He'd separated himself entirely from Cersei and instead was just out there kicking ass because kicking ass is what he'd done for decades.

In the show he's just a pining bitch. Just awful.

Please, lets come up with more summarily dispensed garbage to keep from coming to grips with the fact that D&D just really fucked that whole thing up...

It's delicious to watch book readers mad about what happens in the show.
