Yep. Glad to have Kevin back and a lot to like about that first half [Reply]
Furphy looking like a freshman in the second half. Getting picked on defensively and a poor shot leads to an easy basket where he jogs up the court. [Reply]
It was a really smart adjustment by Drew to just relentlessly attack hunter in the screen game. The last 3 Baylor baskets down the stretch was Harris/hunter twice and Jackson hunter once. All easy shots around the rim. Happened quite a bit in the second half and they stopped just trying to pound the ball down low which had inconsistent results. [Reply]

BYU did the same thing the other day, although that was to get 3s on him. [Reply]
Need to have a tough convo with KJ in the offseason. He really can't play anything but the 5 and then you need shooters and rebounders around him. We are trying to play basketball like it's 1980 in 2024. The floor shrinks when he's on the floor. Sure he shoots 60% but it comes at a cost since he can't shoot or rebound. [Reply]

He’s not going anywhere, so there’s not much point in talking about it beyond the fact that you need to work to get more shooting around him.
The fact that Dickinson apparently lost the ability to shoot/space the floor halfway through the year has been a problem. [Reply]

KJ is a much bigger problem than Hunter. It is just bad roster construction. Trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. Hunter makes sense for any team at the 5. KJ doesn't make any sense for almost any team at the 4. [Reply]

He’s only a problem if you don’t have shooting around him, which we don’t (and especially since Dickinson forgot how to shoot).
The problem is a general roster construction one overall. Not enough shooting and not enough depth. [Reply]
