I know there are enough of us to participate in this thread, even when our seasons inevitably go to shit.
KSU vs Western Illinois today, tip-off at 3:00 pm.
One thing I noticed near the end of the game on Friday night - we had 5 true freshman on the court, and still played sound basketball. None of them were scrub walk-ons either. While I don't think we will make a serious run at anything this year, the foundation is being laid for a solid program in the future. [Reply]

You know what, though? Most of Carson's issues are fixable. Honestly, his passes weren't horrible - they weren't great, but definitely not Cassel-esque. He could have avoided three of those sacks by simply throwing the ball away. That's something you can fix in one practice.
If he gets a little more comfortable and just manages the game, there's no reason we can't compete in most, if not every game. [Reply]

Word is that both AB and BB applied for a hardship, a family sickness one, if I am not mistaken. If the NCAA approves it, they both may be eligible to play by the UCF game.
Don't know how much truth is there. Some user on Kstatefans.com named ksucripps2009 saying it's almost a done deal. Of course, he could be Nick Athan for all I know. [Reply]
