Figured we could get one of these going as well.

Who's some guys we like, would like to see in KC?

Or, maybe it's evidence they aren't actually colluding. They all just said "Hell no!" when asked.

If they were colluding maybe they would have tried to be more subtle.

Commanders, Raiders, Falcons, Panthers. So a handful of the teams most likely to even attempt it. And it's odd that even one did it to be frank. Name any other player where the official accounts immediately say "nope, no interest in that player at all". It doesn't happen.

Well on one hand Lamar Jackson is already a polarizing player but he’s the first to be his own agent and asking for a fully guaranteed deal.

They probably asked sources as soon as he got franchised and they answered it. Sure they could have been vague and said they’re looking at all options but ehhh…I’m not sure anyone cares.

The fact that they have to trade and sign him to a massive deal really whittles down the interested teams. Not everything is suspicious. The guy also has an injury history and then stupid teams that would normally he interested like the browns, already made their move.

If it were Mahomes, would this be happening?

Allen?

Burrow?

Another problem with Lamar, or at least a serious question mark, is can he actually run a normal offense? His whole game revolves around running the ball, with a ton of designed runs, and then a pretty limited passing attack that doesn't extend much past the ends of the hashes. And Lamar isn't going to make your young/rookie receivers any better, because he doesn't know how to do that. May never acquire that ability.

Again. If the teams have no interest that's fine. But then publicly running out and declaring it from the rooftops is not normal.

Was listening to PFT the other day and they mentioned how Lamar lost out on a number of endorsement deals because Lamar, acting as his own agent, couldn't get a deal done.

Dude has lost tens of millions or more because he thinks he's an agent. He's the poster child of what not to do.

Imagine thinking a team is going to fully guarantee a contract to a running Qb who missed the last two post seasons due to injury.

Eh. Not really abnormal either considering these teams are likely being asked about it.

Underrated idea

And basically refused to play in a fucking playoff game.

That was the deal breaker for me with Lamar. I get wanting to get paid, but a young QB not taking advantage of an opportunity to win a SB is a huge red flag for me.

Nor is he the runner he was after he bulked up last season. He's no longer the most prolific running Qb in the league.

The man needs someone to advise him, because he's fucking his own career over and costing himself millions all by his own doing.
