Nzoner's Game Room>The SNL Thread
Easy 6 08:51 PM 05-12-2007
I've been considering doing this for a while, so here goes. A thread to discuss anyone & anything relating to the show.

They keep a pretty tight lid on all images & apparently stay after youtube as well, so those kinds of things might be a 'lil hard to come by, but oh well.

Pretty much everyone here seems to be a fan of it on some level, so it might be kinda fun.

Its as close to Cant Miss Television as there is for me.

Kate McKinnon and Taram Killian are probably the best talents on the show right now.

Then you have Moynihan and all the other females. They're that good.

I'd put Kenan Thompson right there with Killam.

I've never seen that guy NOT be funny, his Steve Harvey always brings me to tears.

Different strokes. Especially when it comes to comedy.

I happen to think Kenan's a good bit player in the right parts, nothing more. But that's me.

I happen to think Kenan's gym teacher in the Jay Pharoah "attention teacher's and students" skits is hysterical.

Direckshun was right, that was an eight minute set... a rocking tour de force, dudes still got it.

I might just buy his new album after hearing that.

That was the best I've heard Prince in years. The dude can still rock and roll when he chooses to.

Prince was easily the best part of that show.

Everything else was pretty much complete garbage. I can't remember a worse episode than that.

Didn't even look like they rehearsed the fucking show. Jesus.

The last 2 weeks have proven that the number of back-up dancers is inversely proportional to the talent of the musician. Prince had none, Iggy Azalea had about a dozen.

He's probably the most versatile artist out there... funk, soul, r&b, straight up rock, the guy can do it all, I've been a huge Prince fan since 7th grade.

Worst SNL in some time, aside from Prince. Chris Rock should be better than that.

I watched like twenty minutes and it was just unfunny. Woody Harrelson and Kendrick Lamar in a few weeks definitely piqued my interest though.
