The issue I am having is the Royals organization philosophy on pitchers from the lower level of the minor leagues to the MLB level.
Since we'll never know how Yordano would have turned out, so far up to this point, none of these pitchers under Dayton Moore that he has drafted, has panned out well as a legit top of the line starter. They have either:

Yeah it’s pretty much Detroit Lions drafting WRs pre Megatron bad. Since Grienke, we’ve basically had the potential of Ventura and that is it. Some people throw Duffy in there but that’s got to be based on longevity more than anything else. I like the guy as a person and respect his love for KC but he’s a .500 pitcher with basically a 4 ERA (career). So over the past decade plus, from a development of starting pitcher standpoint, you have:
