Nzoner's Game Room>****The Tyreek Hill Thread***
Dante84 01:14 PM 04-30-2016
With the 165th pick, in the 5th round.

Nutt said that Toub felt Hill was like Devin Hester.

The Dolphins had to do this with Hill, because Tua is nothing without him. And they know it.

If he ends up broke, he’ll only have himself to blame.

He’s well past the point of career earnings where anyone should feel sorry for him.

From a financial perspective Tyreek Hill definitely made the right decision. Miami just handing him the bag, didn't really even have to pay him this.

He's happy in MIA and we're going for a 3peat. That trade was a win-win for both teams.

This deal gives Miami a $12.5 million more in salary cap they can use, not sure if it’s for this year or next year. Tyreek was scheduled to make $87 million over the next 3 years, now it’s $90 million but way more guaranteed money now. He’s still playing at such a high level, the Dolphins had to restructure his deal.

Mahomes becomes a papa after every Super Bowl win. Hill becomes a papa after every bowl fired up

I’ll be honest.

It was the right move but man do I miss watching Tyreek on the Chiefs.

Mahomes, Kelce, Tyreek and Andy is a foursome that probably won’t be replicated in the NFL for a long time.

That was pure cinema and entertainment.

Sending him to the Dolphins is probably the biggest win/win trade in NFL history.

He wanted to make more money and get some individual accolades and we needed to build a strong roster around Pat.

It’s worked out tremendously for each side but man was it fun when the stars aligned for all those guys to be together here.

He'll be broke within 5 years of retirement

I thought Hill is now getting $106 million?

Sadly, I bet you're right.

I don't think he's a dumb guy. But he just spiraled out of control with the big money. It's as if every million dollars cost him half an IQ point.

I don’t think so. That $106M number seems to include money that was already paid out in earlier years. He has $65 million guaranteed for 2024 and 2025, with another non-guaranteed $25 million in 2026.
