Don’t mitigate that loss. The fact that they also beat a weak Murray St team and a stumbling Purdue doesn’t mean that it isn’t among the worst tourney losses ever. Kentucky was considered the most talented team in the country by many, and top 4 at worst. They were an automatic final four pick for many, and they went down to a team no one had heard of that plays in a high school gym. They didn’t have a single player that Calipari would have ever considered recruiting. And it showed when they ran into a team that was playing well. UNC dispatched of them easily. [Reply]
After looking @ next week's schedule I'm afraid College Gameday will be held at Wake Forest on 9/24. 2 top-20 teams, 11:00 AM start (like KU). But IMO the deciding factor is that Kirk would could announce that game & one of his sons will be playing in that game. (there is a rumor that Gameday could be coming to Lawrence on Saturday if KU & Duke both won yesterday). [Reply]

Will they bring Bill Self on the show in honor of him having coached his last game at Kansas? [Reply]
