It's probably easier to replace Lamar than build a Superbowl team around him taking 25-30% of your cap. I'm interested to see what teams are even interested in Jackson. [Reply]

Say what you want, but its a former MVP..... Its only his 2nd contract. I look for big cap teams to actually pursue.

None. I'm more interested to see if Lamar is capable of humbling himself once he realizes no one is going to fully guarantee his contract. [Reply]
Like I said earlier. If Dan Snyder is big brained and malicious enough he'd sign Jackson to the fully guaranteed deal he wants them sell the team. [Reply]

If he was really evil, he would trade for Russ and make a play for Paton. That would be even more detrimental to their future. [Reply]

He's not fljust fucking the Commanders by paying Jackson a fully GTD deal. He'd be dealing a huge blow to this push the NFL owners are on to undo the damage the Browns did with Watsons contract. [Reply]
Maybe just maybe nobody wants to negotiate with Lamar Jackson acting as his own agent pay two firsts for the honor and pay him a boatload guaranteed only to see him run himself into the ground [Reply]
If I was going to make Lamar an offer, I would first trade my 2023 and 2024 first round picks for the 2024 first round pics of teams like the Chiefs, who will probably finish at the end of the round. Lots of value to grab there before making the offer. [Reply]
Also nobody, possibly even including the Ravens, has seen Lamar run after his second significant leg injury and he didn't look the same after the first one [Reply]

If you believe that it's fine, but there's literally no reason for all the teams to publicly come out and say they have no interest whatsoever. Pretty obvious what's going on here and the owners may want to be a bit more subtle going forward. [Reply]
