Do you even read the Vader comics? If not, you can't really comment.
Yes, he's a lot like comic Vader.
Walking through the town, randomly strangling and neck-snapping, then fucking force choking Obi-Wan onto a hot bed of coals and deadpanning "NOW, YOU WILL SUFFER, OBI-WAN! YOUR PAIN HAS JUST BEGUN."

Spoiler!
reva is 100% looking for a way to kill vader - she saw the jedi logo and smiled
Uh no, that silly fire would NOT have stopped Vader from reaching and destroying Obi-Wan. That was a "cat and mouse" scene. Of course Obi-Wan is not going to die because we have SW episode IV yet to come.
However, I do love this mini-series sans Leia performance. Cannot wait for episode 4 - along for the ride! :-) [Reply]

Given the support Obi-Wan had at that point, Vader wasn't about to risk advancing, either.
So then why was Vader basically wanting to find him at all costs? Even offered Grand Inquisitor to 3rd sister? What is the point? I am not bashing, just not understanding. Is it to SEE Obi-Wan face to face? I am still present? Did not read the comics so I appear lost on what is actually taking place in episode 4. Forgive me. [Reply]
Well, we know that Obi-Wan will pick back up where he left off as a Jedi Master at some point based off what he does to Darth Maul down the road, and how fast he does it. (stating the obvious, obviously) [Reply]
