With roster cuts coming it'd be sweet if Veach can fleece a day three pick out of somebody. Day three picks feel like secret weapons when placed in the hands of Brett Veach.

Trade late 1st round picks for established players that you keep for long periods of time (as core players). Get picks in late rounds/UDFA that play "Up" significantly in your system.
Profit.
It's a great/maximized way to use both resources, IMO.
Going out on a limb here but………. Veach is a better GM than Petro would ever be.

Bolton did start against SF. I'm not sure if Willie Gay not playing had an effect on that. [Reply]
