Jordan Poyer, 2023 $10.5M cap Micah Hyde, 2023 $4.8M cap, 2024 $7.5M cap Damar Hamlin, 2023 $980K cap, 2024 $1.095M cap Taylor Rapp, contract? Two-year starter for the LA Rams.
Bills might be unsure of Hyde/Hamlin for 2023. Hyde (neck injury) only had two games in 2022 and will Hamlin be good for the season.
Hamlin probably isn't coming back to play so that's part of it. [Reply]

I’m assuming he’ll get a bunch of snaps at backer. They have a lot of production to replace in losing Edmonds [Reply]

It would be really tough for Hamlin to return to playing football, but I think that is the plan.
After starting for two years with the Rams and winning a Super Bowl on one of those years, I would think that starting would be a major goal for Taylor Rapp with a team signing.
The Bills will miss the defense that Hyde and Poyer provided when they were both starting. [Reply]

Beane has already reported that Hamlin intends to play. [Reply]

Taylor Rapp sucks.
I have a bunch of friends that are rams fans and they are celebrating him leaving in our group chat. [Reply]

As an LA Ram, Taylor Rapp has had a lot of tackles, 2019 100 tackles, 2020 44 tackles, 2021 94 tackles, and 2022 92 tackles, but he is not a big guy at only 208 pounds. Not sure that playing linebacker for the Bills would be in the best interest in the health of Rapp. [Reply]

Sounds to me like the Bills should have signed Drue Tranquill. [Reply]

The same year that Taylor Rapp was drafted out of Washington (2-61) the Chiefs needed a safety and ended up drafting Juan Thornhill out of Virginia (2-63).
Not sure which player was better, but I did like the way Juan Thornhill played the last part of this season. [Reply]
