It would have to take a dumb one to do that, at this point. I could see 5 for 250M with 100M guaranteed and a 50M signing bonus but i'd still be really worried about that length of contract.
Oh, no part of me would give him anything near the Watson deal (and don’t get me started on that one). I think he can be good used in certain systems but it’s absolutely not for everyone.
The Kyler Murray contract with 160mm guaranteed is the starting point though, so I imagine he’ll get 180-200mm guaranteed on a 5/250 deal when the dust settles. [Reply]

Teams will never stop “overpaying” quarterbacks, and in reality if you don’t have a legit HOF level playing quality guy at QB, you have no chance to win it all anymore. None.
You aren’t beating Mahomes/Andy/Veach unless you have that guy at QB and even then the odds are stacked against you.
