All this talk about series, how network TV Sucks, and how hard it is to find quality shows, and some excellent shows that fly under the radar, I need a comprehensive review of all the series I need to see.
For good entertainment, I would be willing to buy DVD sets. But I've recently picked up HBOGO by kiping it from my parents, and recently got Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Here is a listing of shows that I currently own or have seen all the episodes of. If it isn't on the list, just assume I haven't seen it.

I work a fuckton, so it is hard for me catch a series while it is on to get it on the DVR, but I recognize the entertainment value and am willing to go after the Must See shows. Accordingly, I'm not necessarily looking for anything that is still running. I'm up for watching stuff that has run its course.
So what say you, Planet? Which shows should I see?

Any of the devout would probably take some issue with it. As you can imagine, there are going to be some gaps filled (mostly based on Hebrew legend rather than Biblical Canon) but nothing too terribly insane to this point. The actors do a nice job.
I do think they've made Saul too crazy, too fast. From Saul not killing Agag to Daniel taking the Kingship was anywhere from 10 to 20 years based on most sources. Well they have Saul pretty much nutty as a shithouse rat from day 1.
I don't think it went down like that. I just have a hard time believing that the guy held onto power for 15 years going nuts anytime he was asked a question.

No - it's pretty imposing to get into.
I actually thought about watching the show to decide if I wanted to get into the books. That's what I did with ASOIAF and then Roy Dotrice on car rides completely sold me on the rest of the series.
That dude just completely made those audiobooks. [Reply]

He finna get hit with that Pussy Loop.
I started watching that at you guys recommendation and am probably going to hell for it! :-) [Reply]
Started watching "Secret Level" on Prime on a whim, and I really got pulled into it! It's a bunch of animated short stories based on popular board games/video games, and they're fantastically animated and put together really well. There's been a Dungeons and Dragons, a Warhammer 40K, and a Pac-Man(!) episode that were all freaking fantastic. And not to spoil, but the Pac-Man ep is fucking DARK, lol.
Worth the watch, especially if you have a bit of a nerd gene in you. [Reply]
I want to like Cross on Prime but that shit is just too unbelievable.
Spoiler!
He finally figures out who kidnaps the girl and they are pretty sure the girl is still alive but we are going to waste days trying to play some game with the douche bag that kidnapped her. Wouldn't any good police office be doing everything in their power to get that girl out of there. He worked out some mojo shit to get a warrant for the one house, do the same for that guys. I mean, they at least had him buying prescription drugs with a fake ID. That would at least get him arrested and they could go from there. Cross just seems dumb in my opinion.
