If there's any qb that's proven he can throw accurately and effectively without having proper footwork, it's mahomes. [Reply]

Yes but we also saw him struggling with it. His final completion of the game to Toney is a good example. He threw one of those "left hash to right hash" passes across the field that normally has a ton of zip. This one was floating with no zip on it and you could tell he was struggling to get any distance on it.
I'll say this for him, the more time he gets with injury problems...the more he adjusts to it and figures stuff out. His famous 800+ yard game against Oklahoma in 2016? That one happened a few games after a pretty bad injury on his throwing shoulder. He kept playing through that issue and eventually found a way to play at a high level, even though he was nowhere near 100% with the shoulder problem. [Reply]
Again guys DANIEL JONES AND TREVOR LAWRENCE suffered high ankle sprains this season and both never missed a game. There are levels to ankle sprains and Pat appears to be a mild one like theirs were. Hell Lawrence's sprain included an MCL sprain aswell.
The key to this is how he feels in the coming days. He said he felt better than expected today and if that trend continues then we'll see what his status is on Wednesday. If he's a full go then clearly that would be massive. If he's limited then that's fine too. He just needs enough mobility to leave the pocket a few times..we're not talking about Lamar here guys. In the game against Cinci earlier this year his only run was his Jordan TD. [Reply]

As long as he can plant and make accurate throws along with being able to maneuver in the pocket we will be in a good spot. [Reply]
What saved Mahomes is that his foot didn’t twist, it just “rolled” inward.
With a lot of those injuries that have breaks, the foot is stuck while the body rotates, or the body is stuck while the foot rotates. Thankfully that didn’t happen. [Reply]
