Im intrigued. A playmaker is a playmaker. I’m not entirely sure where he fits since we have so many speed guys. He does seem well suited to fill tyreeks role last year as a short pass catch and run guy.
I think they definitely saw some Tyreek in him. [Reply]
And the Chiefs just landed a talented WR under their control for the 2023 and 2024 seasons for peanuts, and then can choose to to keep him in 2025 with the 5th year option.
This is exactly the type of player the Chiefs needed to help with the cap so we don't have to go out and over spend on the FA market for that position. [Reply]

From what I've seen, he has a much better sense of when it's time to dive forward than Demarcus does [Reply]

I feel like this is more of a futures move. We have him on a rookie deal for the next 3 years.
Everything about the FA period, the draft and this trade shows we're investing for the next few years. It doesn't line up with us trading a pick just for this year (like a Jerry Hughes).

So you do think he could see at least limited action against the Titans? I freaking hope so, I can't wait to see him play. [Reply]

But hopefully I'm wrong.
So you think the Chiefs are just giving up on this year or something? There were reports immediately after this trade saying they were still in on the trade market for moves that make sense. If they can get a pass rusher for what they deem a reasonable cost they will do it, or any other position for that matter. [Reply]
