She is under contract and her payday is in excess of $10 million dollars. She may be entitled to Profit Participation but I don't have that info as fact.

Her agent insisted after the failure of Rub & Tug, which cost the studio at least $40 million because she dropped out after the Twitterverse shamed her.
Recently, she gave an interview apologizing for taking the role in Rub & Tug, but not after months and months of her being pissed off over it. This was an "apology" interview so that the controversy would be avoided when promoting Black Widow.
It's basically an obligation to her career, Marvel and her agent(cy). [Reply]

Plot twist: this is a story about Black Widow that lives in the universe Loki 'ported to when he stole the Tesseract in Endgame, and she's still alive there. [Reply]

To hopefully enjoy the story and see what happens? I mean if you don't care about the character then that's fine. We have no idea how they will end this to tie in to the new movies as well. I personally like the character in the comics and liked her in the movies. That said I was lukewarm (still planned to see it) until I saw this final trailer which made me more excited. Plus I really want to see if Pugh will be the next BW.
I'm betting this will be way better than Captain Marvel. [Reply]
