What's next... is Caldwell going to come out and say he was paid more to lose games with the Lions? Is it just the historically bad teams that are paying coaches of color money to lose?
Something isn't adding up for me. Have the Cowboys been paying coaches for the same thing... [Reply]
At this point we need some on defense to crawl up to the crossbar on the goalpost and drop an elbow on a running back at the goal line, or start hitting players with steel chairs. Go full ECW on the field. [Reply]

For instance. I'm well aware that the house has a slight edge when I'm playing Blackjack. I know that the odds are against me and I choose to play anyway. That's a risk. Now if the house is manipulating the deck or rigging the game further to ensure the dealer always wins, that goes beyond risk and into illegal activity.
If I bet on an NFL game that is presented as a legitimate sporting contest, I know I might lose. That's a risk. If the game being played was intentionally rigged without my knowledge though, that's illegal. I didn't have extremely relevant information when my action was taken.
I'm sorry but I'm pretty sure a good lawyer would rip your "risk" argument to pieces.
I didn’t read this but you should never post here again :-) [Reply]

I mean, he got his coaching salary + whatever Haslam kicked him down for going 0-16, and all he had to do was show up and talk to the media in between YouTube and pornhubs. [Reply]
