No spoiled picks in this thread, all weekend. This means that as tweets are leaking picks a few minutes before the selection is announced live, you don't post it in this thread (ex: embedded tweets), reference it in this thread (ex: Joe Slapdick says it's So and So to Green Bay) or hint at it (ex: "it's a RB!").
Don't be a dick.
Otherwise, have fun, talk shit, freak out and lose your goddamned minds. It's Draft Weekend. The hot takes in these threads are so funny. I'll also be starting player threads for each of our picks as they are made, with videos and notable stats/takes in the OP. Pure knee jerk gold to reference in the future.
Reviews suggest that he's excellent at getting open in short intermediate range. Apparently he has very good hands; I believe he had 3 drops in 107 catchable balls.
Kinda wonder if they're gonna use him as a big WR instead of a TE as he lacks good in line blocking skills while still having decent speed. Nice Round 5 selection. [Reply]

Noah Gray was a high school quarterback that turned into a fairly productive ACC tight end. What stands out when watching Gray is how detailed he is as a route-runner and how natural his hands are catching the football. Duke primarily played him in the slot and out of the backfield, where he illustrated versatility in terms of where he can line up. At the next level, Gray needs to add a notable amount of functional strength and bulk if he is going to survive playing in line. Otherwise, the teams that he fits are limited to only those that deploy an F tight end. For a move tight end, Gray is missing some of the most impactful skills when it comes to vertical receiving: the ability to challenge the seam and dynamic skills to produce offense after the catch. Gray will need to prove himself to be an asset on special teams to give himself a chance to stick and develop the rest of his game. He projects as a depth tight end that brings some versatility to the table but has notable areas of improvement before he can make a consistent impact in the NFL.
Ideal Role: Strictly an F tight end and he projects poorly to working in-line in the NFL due to his lack of functional strength and experience in that role.
