Speaking of...AJ Storr had been to 3 schools in 3 years and averaged the same amount of assists as this guy.
His percentage has gone up every year and was decent last year. If he continues that trend, he’ll be an excellent piece. Even if he doesn’t, he’ll still be a solid small ball 4 and a good fit for what Self wants to do. [Reply]

Yep. It will mean that KU didn't match Auburn's offer.
I'm aware of Vernon's rumors. Let's say they're true, and Bidunga's camp wasn't thrilled with how he was handled. Why are they automatically right? Do you side with every parent who bitches about his/her son's role on a sports team? [Reply]

You're right about one thing...the bar isn't set very high.
"The problem with this team is the 3x All American!"
"37% three pt shooting on almost 8 attempts per game? Sounds like a KJ clone!"
And if your team is only top 20ish by every computer ranking, you definitely need to stop concerning yourself with winning games in order to appease the handlers of a player who very well might go to the highest bidder anyway.
Brilliant stuff.
The minor differences between the staff and Bidunga's handlers aren't irreconcilable. This is/was about money. Not about sticking it to ol' Bill. As you'll see when it's announced that Bidunga's returning.
Til then, keep pretending you know what you’re talking about. [Reply]

It was clearly an egregious mistake to bench him for who they did and I imagine the whole team grasped that by the end. It would seem Flory's camp certainly did.
They were playing like one of the best teams in the country? Based on what? Beating three bad teams and barely escaping UCF at home?

Are you a child? You think a parents opinion decides on playing time on any Div. 1 basketball team?
Everyone agrees that Flory should have had more playing time at the expense of KJ. That obviously includes the team because everyone left. For chrissakes, the student section who love Self totally were chanting, at home, We want Flory.
Self is still a top notch BB coach. When you coach as long as he has, you have to adapt to the mentality of the current era's players. They can leave after a year if you mistreat them. So you make the wrong choice as in the KJ fiasco, it bites you in the ass and call into question if Self can coach this eras players successfully. [Reply]
