2023 – A new beginning for the Royals. Matt Quatraro era begins. A year to see which of our young players will make up the core going forward. Can Bobby Witt Jr become a superstar SS or will go to the hot corner? Will Brady Singer take the next step forward? Will Salvy be Salvy? Will Big Vin or Pratto take first base? Will they find a position for MJ? Who else emerges from the youth movement? Not to mention the development of the new downtown stadium.

Would not be surprised. If they can't resurrect 1-2 of the current/former pitching prospects, it will be worse. Truth is, our offense has a better chance to be better without all the baggage from any vets we've traded. Pitching...100% depends on new coaches making an impact on what we already have. Wouldn't hurt to have Zach eating some innings and saying funny things. [Reply]
I love how they are doing this. That dip shit Dayton Moore would have signed a couple of shitty vets to block our young players and would be out here telling everyone that he expects to be very competitive this year and he would legit believe it. [Reply]

Not only will they get their shot, I think the organization will put higher expectations on them to succeed from the get go or they may become part of the transactional model and moved.
If so, will be interesting to see how prospects perform with immediate expectations from the prior regime. Coddling prospects and wasting several years of service time to "develop" at the Major League level had grown quite tiresome. [Reply]

Sue for what? If the owner would want to leave, because we won't pay for a new stadium, then that is well within his rights. I'm not worried about it. More than likely it gets passed. [Reply]
