In a departure from expectations this afternoon, Chiefs CB L’Jarius Sneed was on the field for some stretching and conditioning that would put him in the next stage of the concussion protocol, a very good sign for him.
Andy Reid is optimistic JuJu Smith-Schuster, who sustained a left knee injury Sunday, will be able to participate in the team's practices next week in Arizona.
"He's in the good place," Reid said. "The main thing is letting that thing calm down. We'll just see where it goes."
Reid was particularly optimistic that among the injured players Toney and JuJu would be able to play in the Super Bowl. On JuJu, Reid said, "He's in a good place."
Andy Reid said L’Jarius Snead, who spends most of his time covering teams #1 QB is in the concussion protocol. His status for the Super Bowl will be one to watch vs the #eagles
Chiefs LB Willie Gay is optimistic about playing in the Super Bowl despite hurting his shoulder Sunday vs. Cincinnati, per source. Early tests were encouraging.
.@adamteicher to @J810Anderson on how the #Chiefs feel about the chances of their injured players returning for the Super Bowl: "The Chiefs feel like everybody's got a chance, all those guys." Adds that it's doubtful that all of them would make it, but all should have a shot.
Do we IR Mecole next week (assuming he for sure can't play), and activate CEH to have another offensive player who knows the system? Clearly not a major difference maker, but surely better than a random PS WR coming up.
Nate said on a podcast a couple weeks back that we are likely shopping CEH this offseason. Knowing that, choosing to play him carries some risk.
The updates seem to be about as positive as one could expect. Looks like nearly everyone will be ready. You'd have to think that even Hardman might give it a go. His situation is really bizarre though, so who knows. [Reply]

Will be interesting to watch.
I would anticipate we IR Hardman.
I don't know who we elevate for the roster spot, but I sure hope it's Danny Shelton.
There's only one way the Eagles are beating us offensively, and that's if they run the ball. [Reply]
