I'm just... not into this team. Didn't sit down to start watching until there was only 10 minutes left and they were down 10 or 12 or something. They just haven't demanded my attention outside of sadly missing both the Tennessee and UConn games. [Reply]

It’s a bottom tier Self team but this was one of their better games (outside of McCullar). They played hard throughout and Furphy has clearly unlocked something in them.. Doubt anybody is winning in this building this year. [Reply]

Yeah, I almost posted that they need to get it to Gilbert because he seems to be the confidence guy. I thought it might jinx us. In fact, not posting it jinxed us.
My bad guys.

Right, but Furphy was late on the close out. [Reply]

Worth noting that Gilbert has been a terrible shooter all year (25% from 3). Furphy was late defending that action, but it’s a shot you can live with ultimately (and we are also gonna have to live with Furphy defensive mistakes too given the offense he provides).
If he misses, decent chance we win it given the collective pants shitting we were witnessing from the ISU players. Haven’t seen anything like that here since the EJ game. [Reply]

The problem is Furphy tried to give more space in this game because he knows he sucks defensively & is susceptible to getting beat off the dribble by everyone. but then guys just shoot and he tries to use his length to recover. [Reply]
