I wasn't suggesting he should sit down against man, I didn't realize the play was man until I watched it a 2nd time.

Yeah, inartful phrasing on my part.

I'm not saying he should 'sit down' - I'm saying he appears to be responding/reacting to Mahomes seemingly trying to take the play to his left. We often laude WRs for helping out their QB during scramble drills and when Pringle throws on the brakes, it looks like he's trying to do exactly that; reverse field and follow where Mahomes is going to give him someone to throw to.

In that play to Pringle, I think Pringle sees where the DT is and thought if he keeps running that Mahomes wouldn't have the throwing lane and would get the ball batted down, but Mahomes does Mahomes things and is able to whip it around the DT. If Mahomes throws it overhand there to where Pringle is going, then that ball is batted down. I think Pringle forgot who he had as QB lol.

The Saints cut WR Kenny Stills’ ass after he dropped a pass resulting in a tipped INT.

I am not suggesting the Chiefs should be cutting their WR’s for dropped passes, but there better be more internal pressure/accountability than Andy’s continued “we are off by just a tick” public messaging.

It’s Week 14 and this same lack of execution keeps happening.

Looking at that Pringle play could that be one of the plays that Collinsworth is talking about? Does he need to throw side arm there or just a normal throwing motion he completes that pass.

Don't hate me just asking the question.

That was really good. Exact same frustration I've had. We're winning like the Patriots usually do.

Except for the turnovers on offense. I just want to see Tyreek & Kelce figure out these drop & fumble issues. If they can do that, I believe Patrick will get into a groove and things will explode in a very positive way for the KC offense heading into the playoffs. But the clock is ticking and time is running out on this season.

Patrick needs to be able to trust those 2 Hall of Fame guys. They are the only ones he can trust on the offense, but they have been killing too many drives and stealing momentum from the KC offense. Then stuff starts spiraling in a negative way, Patrick gets frustrated & impatient, etc.

It’s similar to what we were seeing on defense to start the year.

You can get away with a stars and scrubs approach to your roster — IF your stars are playing like stars. When ours weren’t playing like it on D, the defense was awful. When they played to their paychecks, complementary guys could be complementary.

If Kelce and Hill can get back to their HoF levels, everyone else can stop pressing and settle into their intended roles.

Just read a quote from Mahomes in The Athletic where he says the Hill INT is on him - too high and too hard - that if he places it on him properly, Tyreek probably scores.

He's doing a lot of things with arm angle and velocity that he doesn't really need to do. He's got to get more comfortable being "normal".

Everybody on the offense just needs to settle down.

They're all pressing. Mahomes needs to take the easy throws. Hill, Kelce, Pringle and company just need to look the ball in and secure the catch before they try to run.

Your defense is playing well. Just get back to fundamentals and do your job first.

He said the same thing in the presser on Tuesday.

It absolutely was a bad pass. Just because it hits a receivers hand, doesn't mean it's totally on them.

Mahomes taking the blame is never going to change. Everything is his fault. Great play happens, it was the receiver. It’s who he is. His leadership style. He’s never going to call out players. Get in their face in the locker room etc. just not who he is.

I was taught that "if you can touch it, you can catch it" and for the most part I took accountability on that statement.

Receivers/fans wanting every pass right in the numbers are living in a fantasy world, but I feel this demand is right in line with today's spoiled humanity.
