Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

That was such a weird series of events. Couldn't understand why he didn't take a timeout to get the ball back with roughly 1:30 seconds left and instead got the ball back with 0:59 or so.
Texted my one 49er friend and he was stumped by it as well. [Reply]

Kyle said it himself. He was afraid KC would get another chance with the ball. Scared of Mahomes. Also scared that Jimmy would go 3 and out. Didn't trust his own guys. Coward!! [Reply]
This is a great thread. Mahomes clearly did not suck most of this game. The 49ers just made things really difficult and we had some bad luck in spots - until the magic ending. [Reply]

First Half = "B" grade. 10 points on that defense is NOT bad.
3rd quarter = "F" grade. Terrible interception.
Early 4th quarter = "D" grade. Moved the ball into scoring position, then another bad interception.
Late 4th quarter = "A+" grade. CLUTCH AS HELL. [Reply]

To have a QB who is capable of an A+ in clutch time is what made all the difference. [Reply]

I didn't see that. Thanks for the info.
Pretty rough to have your coach basically give up on you when there was plenty of time to get down to score. With 3 timeouts & 1:30 left they could have run anything. [Reply]
