Kansas City is trading its first-round pick Thursday night, along with three other picks in the 2021 and 2022 drafts, to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for Pro Bowl OT Orlando Brown and one pick in the 2021 draft and another in 2022, per sources.
He really needs a franchise-ish contract, but I'm not sure what that means. He probably shouldn't get a Williams-level deal, but maybe that's the price now. Thank goodness this is Beach's responsibility and not mine. [Reply]

We got back a 2 in that deal. Granted we kicked in other stuff, but we need to be accurate regarding the cost. [Reply]

And it's pretty hard to say he's not the only person on the field as physically dominant as Aaron Donald. There aren't many guys out there who can just impose their will on NFL players and those are the two that immediately spring to mind.
Yeah, Williams is about as close to a perfect OT as you'll find. He's the nearest thing we've had in awhile to Willie Roaf.
But like I said earlier, there's nothing that says Orlando Brown can't be Jason Peters. And that's PLENTY good enough.
Brown is just so young. Hell, the guy hasn't really hit his prime window yet and you can essentially pay for that. Usually you pay for a bit of a prime and post prime.
I dont' see how you don't pay him and move on. [Reply]

This.
I toss a 5/100M deal at him as soon as I am legally allowed to. [Reply]
