Or they’re choosing not to restructure Mahomes this year.
At this point who the fuck knows what Veach has planned. He could do all the restructures and extensions….and then sign 9-10 guys in FA to minimal deals to fill out the roster. [Reply]
Man, we have a lot of spots to fill yet. Our DL is quietly in shambles with only Jones and Clark as notable names. Still need a couple more quality EDGE rushers, WR2, another starting LB for the base package, LB depth, another starting CB to replace Ward (Huges probably won't be back), and an upgrade at RT would be fantastic.
With that said, I have full confidence in Brett Veach. We got this. Glad Tyreek will soon get is well deserved big contract. Dude will be in Canton one day. [Reply]

We should be a top UDFA destination and that could be really good coming out of such a deep draft. [Reply]

There was only a prepared statement released on his behalf by the Chiefs media relations staff.
Maybe that means he’s working on something bigger before doing a live press conference?
Reid signing is a solid move that does not warrant fireworks or special attention of any kind outside of HB leaving. Glad to have him though. [Reply]

Your top needs are the deepest areas of the draft. A 3rd LB along with depth don’t require a ton of money. You’ll need another CB but we’ve got our two starters. And Wylie is your RT…no upgrade is coming unless it’s through the draft. [Reply]

We were way ahead of our division last year. Other teams got better but they are not better than us right now.
It’s still Bills, Chiefs and Bengals at the top
Bills signed Von. Their pass rush was their biggest weakness and they addressed it. Bengals signed Karras, Cappa, and looks like they're about to land Lael Collins. They're going hard to address their weakness.
Meanwhile...
And now we need a new corner that will line up across from Devante Adams twice a season. [Reply]
