So there's an article on NFL network saying that Orlando Brown is expected to sign for 6 years $145 mil.
That comes to $24.16 mil/yr and makes him the highest paid offensive lineman in football. It also would give him the 19th highest salary per year in the NFL
How would you feel if that is the contract he ended up signing?
I'm fine with it. He is a top 5 LT and he's only 26 next season. A young great LT is a guy you can't let leave. [Reply]
Yeah. I was willing to give him the money we offered him, but after he chose to bet on himself and from what I’ve seen so far this year, he’s not even worth that.
His play has been a major disappointment to say the least.
I think we’re looking for a new LT next year fellas. Be it via the draft or a stopgap in FA (or both). [Reply]

Well, it's week 3 and everyone can have a howler now and then. But I think that was probably Brown's worst game as a Chief
But its looking at this point like Brown should have taken the Chiefs offer, and maybe we'll be glad he didn't. [Reply]
