So there's an article on NFL network saying that Orlando Brown is expected to sign for 6 years $145 mil.
That comes to $24.16 mil/yr and makes him the highest paid offensive lineman in football. It also would give him the 19th highest salary per year in the NFL
How would you feel if that is the contract he ended up signing?
I'm fine with it. He is a top 5 LT and he's only 26 next season. A young great LT is a guy you can't let leave. [Reply]

Why would the Packers want to get rid of their backup LT since their starter cannot stay healthy? They would not. This is his 3rd year in a row of not being available for the entirety of a season.
They are much more likely to cut Bakhtiari. [Reply]
Would $19.9944 Million be too much for next year?
That is 120% of his first franchise tag.
That is right around the average that they were offering him. I sure could see us tagging him again but letting him test the waters with other teams and then either he will come to earth with his contract demands or play on the tag another year. [Reply]
Not defending Brown Jr here but after watching the condensed version of the game again I noticed that we really miss Blake Bell.
Noah Gray and Jody Fortson are good receivers but man they are no match for really good DE’s like Khalil Mack. No idea why Andy designed plays against them 1v1 [Reply]

I have a very simple easy solution for that problem. [Reply]
