But a vaccine created this fast concerns me for safety reasons.

Then again about a month ago I was ready to start throwing every possible theraputic in the book at people to see if it helped. So that probably wasn't very safe thinking.
Well we definitely do not want to repeat the 1955 polio vaccine first release. that would just give every Anti-vaxx nutter a ton of ammunition going forward.

The Remdisivir news is huge. Of course CNN is going to play the skeptic angle. Always a qualified BUT with the good news, while the bad news is catastrophic.

Any proclamation of a miracle drug should always be qualified with a BUT.
