Separation is more important in today's NFL for a WR.
Perfecting route running will help him. Also, expectations for him need to be in line with him as a player. He's not likely gonna be a #1 WR ever, maybe a mid #2 or good #3.

Kelce is incredibly quick out of his breaks plus he's one of the best route runners in the league.
Vol fan here checking in on Trey Smith. Don’t really see anything about him. How is he doing? I hope well as I think he has the potential to be a 10 yr guard in the league. [Reply]

He has a above average speed, size, and he’s excellent when the ball is in the air. His body control and ability to adjust to the ball are 2 of his best traits.
You can’t have it all in a 5th round pick. [Reply]

Likely wont play much this year if history is any indication. I cant think of a WR other than Hill that got significant snaps during the year as a rookie. Wilson played like 2 games at the end of the year and Conley didnt play til he was forced to when Maclin went down. [Reply]

Every time i hear someone talking about Rodgers press conference and how guys were treated on the way out i think of Maclin and Dorsey. And wonder if that GB attitude is what got him ran out. [Reply]
Even Chris Jones giving Trey Smith some love towards the end
I’m told #chiefs star DL Chris Jones is having the best camp of his career. He’s working at DT and DE, so who has he studied this offseason to prepare for DE? Our conversation on @nflnetworkpic.twitter.com/5M3nzPyDDo
