Any person unable to follow the spoiler rules will be banned from this thread. 14 days for first offense. Perm banned from the thread for a 2nd offense.

I. Do. Not. Care.

They're so damn ancillary to anything. They haven't really mattered in the entirety of Westeros. Yara (or Asha or whatever the !@#$ her name is) actually hit the nail on the head - Westeros doesn't give a rip about them except for when they happen to briefly appear, steal things and then go back home.

What purpose could they possibly serve? Obviously Euron isn't gonna pull this off. And I'm not sure how they could be all that handy against a zombie apocalypse. This whole storyline coming back into the series seems like little more than an attempt to continue the Theon Greyjoy character rehabilitation tour.

They should've just flayed Theon awhile ago and had the iron islands shrug and move along.
Yep. TV show Ironborn story is booooring. TV show Damphair is a mega-pussy compared to badass book Damphair.

I think she wants her tits and ass to be used when it's good for the story instead of just letting us see them because we like them.

I agree completely. But, if they are going to do kingsmoot, how the hell don't you have the dragon binder horn get blown?! That could have made for a better seen and would have made everyone lining up behind Euron more plausible.

It is like they have taken everything mystical in the show and pissed on it. Who needs direwolves? Let's kill them. Who needs some crappy horn that supposedly makes the dragons obey you? Let's just not put it in. What do we care if everyone wants to see a Lady Stonehart? Axe that shit too.

I was expecting a much more drawn out and elaborate process. The way it ended was fine, but I had read about it and was looking forward to something a bit more complicated.

I'm pretty sure the purpose was revealed last night: go to Dany and offer to bring her army to Westeros. It's just going to be Yara/Asha that attempts it instead of Euron. Dany needs a fleet, because hers burned.

Don't the Ironborn appreciate taking what is yours? I would think if Yara had struck him down right when he announced he killed their father no one would have minded. Would have probably got her the throne as well.

Ohh, and remind me never to claim the Salt Throne. Because their whole ceremony thing is shit. They just drown you, and throw you on the beach and see if you maybe come back to life? :-).... WTF?

I was seriously laughing at the uncomfortable pause there, thinking that they just accidentally killed Euron, and now they have no ruler while all their ships were sailing away.

Fuck the Iron Islands.

Then don't burn her damn fleet - done and done.

They could've easily avoided the iron born.

Her entire storyline in Meereen has been a contrived effort to stall. Buddy offered her ships like 2 years ago (show time) and she refused.

Women in this show are real idiots.
