Yeah, was pretty obvious what was about to happen. Still enjoyed it. Looks like Big Head is going to lose his 20 mill though.

If that were to happen, which I really hope it wouldn't, he'd have to warg into him and kill any wights nearby or somehow build a contraption for him and Meera to ride the dragon.

I strongly disliked the plot point of Sansa lying to Jon about Riverrun / the Blackfish.

I'm hoping Brianne continues to serve as her "conscience" and gets that cleaned up as soon as possible.

When they left Castle back - Brienne was headed to Riverrun, with Jon / Ser Davos / The Wildlings going to rally the minor northern houses, correct?

It was probably smart of Sansa to lie. She only lied about where she'd heard the info, not the content. She doesn't want to risk losing the backing of the Knights of the Vale because John kills Littlefinger and the semi functional cousin of hers decides to withdraw support.

Today I learned that an opinion is a spoiler. :-)

I liked how Sansa bowed up on Littlefinger, even if in the long run it doesn't help her cause. He seemed genuinely surprised at her demeanor, could show that she could be a wild card in his machinations down the road. And did he say that the entire Vale army is at Moat Cailin? If that really is the case, Ramsay is in for a fight in the very near future. One he's not ready for, I think it would be safe to say (particularly if the Umbers are about to swing on the Boltons).

The Tree scene was well done, I thought. Is Bran the key for the Night King and his hordes to get over/through the wall? And there is no way Meera pulling Bran is going to escape, unless the dues ex machine of the North is revealed next episode as has been stated. It HAS to be either Drogon whom we haven't seen this season (which would be a huge cop out) or Benjen Coldhands (which would be less so, but still a bit of a cop out), right? And Hodor and Summer both getting burnt on the same show sucks. I REALLY wish they would have made the direwolves as strong as they are portrayed in the books....

Arya has been a slow build, but I am very much looking forward to what she ends up as, which I think will be incomplete in the eyes of Ja'Quen H'gar. I don't think she is going to pull this assassination of the actress off (at least not cleanly). I also think this whole setup is H'gar trying to help her get over her past and move forward (remember the other girl asking Arya about her "ridiculous list"?).

Overall, I enjoyed it. But it does have the feeling that they are starting to race towards concluding certain storylines to me to get to the big finish....

They kinda have to. They're going to shorten Season 7 and 8. It has a different feel, but I'm down as long as it doesn't get campy. Eventually shit has to hit the fucking fan. And it is. If it was 8 10 episode seasons full of exposition and setup it would be tough. Eventually something has to happen.

So far I've been down with Post-GRRM GoT.

She should have shared her meeting with Littlefinger right away. Jon isn't an idiot hot-head. He's not going to storm off on some revenge tour.

It also seems a stretch to me to blame Littlefinger for the monster that is Ramsay. If they want to hate Littlefinger, then hate him for betraying Ned.

And the first thing I thought after Dany told Jorah to find a cure was to think that Jorah and Sam's path will cross in Oldtown. Don't know what that means or what it builds towards, though. Some connection to Dany and her dragons that Sam can report back to Jon with?

The episode kind of left me with a meh feeling. Like everyone else....I'm super pissed how they show Direwolves on this show. Hopefully Ghost and Nymeria don't go out like a bitch.

Bran is a dick. JFC.

Good catch. Maybe Sam comes up with a cure. Can't think of many worthwhile story lines that end with Jorah turning full stone man or killing himself, so there might be a chance.

Oh....and can we fucking speed up Arya's storyline? Holy shit.

Fight scene. The girl is not ready.

Rinse and repeat.

"What is a girl's name?" "A girl has no name."

Honestly, I don't see the appeal of serving the Faceless God. Sure, they are training her to be a badass, but it sounds like they won't ever let her take out the people on her list. What's the point?

None of the Starks/Wildllings/Bolton/the North know this information though, correct?
