Can Bobby Witt Jr become a superstar SS or will go to the hot corner? Will Brady Singer take the next step forward? Will Salvy be Salvy? Will Big Vin or Pratto take first base? Will they find a position for MJ? Who else emerges from the youth movement? Not to mention the development of the new downtown stadium.

Its a horrible shitty league run by dipshits and product that is poor. I can't stand the league and up until recently years ago I watched it a ton.
Then you throw in the fact that Kansas City and St. Louis both are at the bottom of the national tv ratings when it comes to NBA telecasts. No franchise is coming to Missouri. [Reply]

A city that doesn't have a team, doesn't watch it? Stunning.
People who think the NBA is this terrible product are by and large people who think college basketball rules and seem to quickly whitewash how terrible it is. [Reply]
NBA games are fun but the catch is the NBA if you don't have a real top level superstar you have no chance. Zero. Not even a little, you're just spinning your wheels. Not that small market baseball teams do great either though really. But you can at least have upstart teams and teams that have legit playoff runs. You can build a team that has a great bullpen or gets 2-3 starters who get hot and carry you, those kinds of things. In the NBA you basically have to have one of the handful of superstars and they can't get hurt like Giannis did this year or you're done. [Reply]

Or the product is just terrible compared to a few seasons ago during the prime of LeBron and Curry. [Reply]
The Royals will not be eligible for the draft lottery in 2025. Small market teams cannot lottery in three consecutive seasons.
This means the Royals are in rough shape, AND won’t pick any earlier than 10th in the 2025 draft, regardless of their win-loss record. https://t.co/vE5sAEMoQF

It's their answer to tanking as a strategy, if you collect revenue sharing it's 3 years in a row, if you pay revenue sharing it's 2 years in a row. [Reply]
