On top of that, it also pushes our depth chart down and gives rice, moore and toney less chance to develop on the field. Some players just dont just develop in practice.

It may push some roster bubble elevation gut to the PS. More than likely a special teams contributor. You know what sucked ass last year anyway? Our special teams. Hopkins for 1-2 years > Praying Justyn Ross hits his Jody fortson upside for another 3 years. [Reply]
I guess I don't really get the issue here. If he comes on board, sure, it probably pushes everyone down a spot, but adding a talent to the top isn't ever bad.
If he doesn't, we get to see the young guys play more. Win win. [Reply]
