About to hit the 5000 post mark on the old thread, the first season 7 trailer today seems like the right time to start the final Game of Thones thread.
I'm going back to the original rules pre-2015. I don't think we need supervision or bannings. Just don't be a dick. Post anything you find online that hasn't aired yet inside of spoiler tags. That's pretty much it. I think we can all handle that...

That is definitely the show’s weakest point.
It’s also why Martin hasn’t written a book in 8 years and is 3 years past his promised deadline (one he promised his publishers in 2015).
It was weak, sure. But something had to give to get the pieces where they needed to be. I can forgive it.
And hey, at least it wasn’t a sultry scene with a strong female lead doing a Marilyn Monroe impression at an office party.. [Reply]

I get what you're saying and I agree with it for the most part, but a couple of the things the characters did were just stupid for the sake of plot and it didn't have to be scripted that way. [Reply]
We started re-watching from season 1 last year, one episode a week on sunday nights. We're timing it so we hopefully can watch the season 8 episode right after watching season 7 episode 7.
But we have Dish. Fuck Dish. My internet is too slow to stream very well. This might be the time to switch to Directv. [Reply]

Also, . . . sufficient . . . by itself, . . . is redundant. :-)
Incipit is the third-person singular form of the verb, incipio, incipire, incpei, inceptum, and it means "he, she, it, begins." It it not necessary to add a pronoun unless the verb is gender-specific.
Ea is the feminine first person singular form of the pronoun is-ea-id (he-she-it/that). A literal translation of ea incipit is actually "she begins."
I took 2 years of Latin in high school, and 20 hours of Latin in college. How many Latin courses have you taken?

Spoiler!
Read over on Reddit that the Starks use lead coffins to keep the dead from raising. Wonder if she went down to the crypts to escape and encountered a reanimated headless Ned.
